Read Joe Abercrombie's First Law Trilogy, a true artist to create great characters and weave the stories of three individuals as if each were the main. Fresh congrats to Brent Weeks, only just finished Shadow's Edge and... My God, imagination is your middle name. Both amazing authors, top of my magical/fantasy list. Equals.
