I got the symbol right away. And the cover does its job well, since my immediate reaction was 'A bloody RSS feed icon?Cool. What is that book about?', followed by looking around for a good description of the book. And isn't that what a book cover is supposed to do?

And my reaction after finding the article about it on IO9 was 'Cory Doctorow's When the Sys-Admins Ruled the World with zombies! Double-cool.'

So count me as waiting eagerly for the book.

as far as posters, as we get closer to the release I'll be sure to make some computer wallpapers for you guys, hows that?

Go you! :-D

It's an RSS thing, right?

Gave a nice new (well, new for someone who's been hearing about the "zombie book" but doesn't have a clue about the plot) twist on the term "feed", for me, btw. :-D

- TTFN,
- Amazon. :-)

I recognised the RSS symbol immediately - but then again, I was reading the blog on Google Reader, so I might have an advantage over others!

I really want to read this book - zombies & RSS feeds together sounds really intriguing!

Yes... yes, I immediately recognized the symbol and thought "OMG... so simple and so... bloody... perfect!" I can't imagine a better use of symbolism for this book!

Now I want a poster of the art... :-)

Oh, I got it right away, and so did my husband, looking over my shoulder, who approves highly.

It's an *awesome* cover, and sooo perfect for the book! (another of Seanan's machete squad)

Of course I recognized the symbol, I use RSS on daily basis. Actually that in connection with the title made me interested enough to read the text... yet you dare not to put description innit!

I recognized the RSS-feed symbol pretty much immediately. (Here via a link from Seanan McGuire's journal.)
