		<description>I like happy endings too, and certainly enjoy a laugh or two while reading. You don&#039;t find much of that on the Booker Prize shortlist however, which is disappointing. I do wish we had more seriously funny choices to choose from: comedy that isn&#039;t light, or literary that isn&#039;t just a trail of misery finding its way.
