Very interesting, particularly in light of all the debates, conducted, it seems, whether in favor or not in favor, by individuals who have not read any of the author’s books. One of my favorite fantasy reads last year was Best Served Cold. It seemed to me at least, that he was continuing to grow and mature his writing skills. I’m looking forward to The Heroes but not right now, alas. We’re on fellowship researching and writing the new book, which studies the nation’s history through the prism of labor, money and slavery, from early colonial days to the threshold of the seemingly inevitably bloody astonement we call the American Civil War, or if we were Grant, the Southern Rebellion.
Love, C.

Good to see Orbit doing podcasts, I need a few more genre book related ones in my podcast listening. Keep them coming. Considering Joe was phoning in his side of the conversation the sound quality was very good. I’ve heard a lot worse, at least I could hear what he was saying, and very interesting it was too with spome good questions from Jack. The sound levels were a bit too extreme though, need to be more balanced. Had to turn the volume up to hear Joe, or be deafened by Jack. One aspect to look at for the next one perhaps?
