Editorial Assistant at Orbit UK. After growing up on a healthy diet of Ghostbusters, Transformers and Thundercats, I discovered Terry Brooks' Shannara novels and became hopelessly hooked on the epic fantasy genre. After realising that many of the books I enjoyed were published by Orbit, I decided - with the brazen confidence typical of a fourteen-year-old - that I was going to work for them one day. Thirteen years later, I achieved that ambition as I joined the Orbit team in December 2010. For some of the intervening years, I ran the popular book review blog Speculative Horizons. In my spare time - when not reading - I like to dabble in photography, drink alarming amounts of coffee and abuse my long-suffering acoustic guitar.
