And in taking on the mantle of genre grandmaster Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson has done some fantastic Wheel of Time re-reads. For a quick catch up on the previous Wheel of Time books please click here.

So what more can be said than the Wheel of Time turns, and ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the age that gave it birth comes again. But now, the end draws near. It’s time to roll the dice.

Well, you talked me into grabbing Eye of the World used, but it’s going to be a while before I make it through all thirteen… ;^)

Good to see a Chucktown author do well, even if he’s not around to see it.

It’s good to learn that after the momentous event at the peak of Dragonmount in “The Gathering Storm”, Rand’s very presence now creates a wondrous effect around him (the apple trees bearing fruit again) unlike what happened in the last book wherein all the food supplies brought by the Atha’an Miere to Arad Doman has gone spoiled at his appearance.
Now I can truly say that the side of the Light has a now a chance to defeat the Dark One.
I am looking forward to read a chapter or two of Elayne, which the previous book, sadly, is lacking.
