2017 Nebula Award Finalists

The 2017 Nebula Award Nominations are in and we’re excited to announce that FOUR Orbit titles have been nominated for Best Novel!

N.K. Jemisin’s THE OBELISK GATE is up for a Nebula Award!

Congratulations to the nominees for the 2016 Nebula Award — including our own N.K. Jemisin! THE OBELISK GATE (US | UK | ANZ) is on the shortlist for the Nebula Award for Best Novel. The full Best Novel slate:

THE OBELISK GATE is the sequel to Jemisin’s THE FIFTH SEASON (US | UK | ANZ), which was also nominated for the Nebula Award, and won the Hugo Award for Best Novel. The concluding volume of the trilogy, THE STONE SKY (US | UK) will be published in August.

This is the third Best Novel nomination for both N.K. Jemisin and Ann Leckie (whose ANCILLARY JUSTICE [US | UK | AUS] won the Nebula Award two years ago).

The nominees for the Andre Norton Award for Young Adult Science Fiction and Fantasy also include an Orbit author: COURT OF FIVES was nominated, by Kate Elliott, author of last fall’s BLACK WOLVES (US | UK | AUS).
